Today would have been my father’s 62nd birthday. Unfortunately, he passed away from a sudden heart attack while I was in Japan. It made me sad for the obvious reasons but also because he never got to see this comic. Mostly because he was the inspiration for it in more ways than one. March 11th: Three Years Later

Today is the third year anniversary of the March 11th earthquake and tsunami that hit the eastern coast of Japan. Many people who know me already know about my experience, but anyone who is curious can take a look here. But I think it’s crazy how much time has passed. I’ve even been told that one of my co-workers and his wife will be doing a special with Dateline to talk about their experience. That’s surreal.
