Took the website down temporarily just to make sure that things got updated due to the big PHP vulnerability news. I think things should be okay but I wanted to do my best to make sure it was.
Here’s hoping there aren’t any other big potentially website breaking issues in the near future.

Free Comic Book Day 2026
Participating in Free Comic Book Day this year at The Tenth Planet in Schereville, Indiana on May 2nd at noon. This is only my second in person signing since 2019 but I’m looking forward to it. I’ll have copies of most of my work except for, funnily enough, Secrets & Shadows. It should be a fun time so if you live in the area, check it out and support a local business as well.
Disarmed: A Kenshi fan comic
Wanting to make something small and relatively simple, I wrote a short script based on a moment from my second playthrough of the RPG Kenshi. I grabbed Dexter (Secrets & Shadows/Mega Centurions artist) for the art and Cristian (Mega Centurions letterer) for the letters. It follows a moment where my main character Moon was traveling across the desert with two companions and was ambushed by bandits. And what happens, you’ll see.
Here are Dexter’s designs for Moon, Hunter and, fan favorite recruit Ruka.
Dexter did a great job of making Moon look much more badass than he does in the game. And I think he does a great job of capturing the overall feel of the game despite never playing it.
It was just a fun comic to show love to one of my favorite game series and one of my more memorable moments from the game.
The first page goes up on the tomorrow. I hope you enjoy it.
