Wanting to make something small and relatively simple, I wrote a short script based on a moment from my second playthrough of the RPG Kenshi. I grabbed Dexter (Secrets & Shadows/Mega Centurions artist) for the art and Cristian (Mega Centurions letterer) for the letters. It follows a moment where my main character Moon was traveling across the desert with two companions and was ambushed by bandits. And what happens, you’ll see.

Dexter did a great job of making Moon look much more badass than he does in the game. And I think he does a great job of capturing the overall feel of the game despite never playing it.
It was just a fun comic to show love to one of my favorite game series and one of my more memorable moments from the game.
