While the pages for Clusterf@#k #4 are coming along, I’ve also been working on a short story called “Someday”. It’s about my father, Japan, and keeping promises. I linked up with an artist named Kevin Bandt who did this pin-up and he’s been knocking it out of the park.
I will admit that writing autobiographical stories is a bit outside of my comfort zone and that it was much more challenging creating a story based on true events. However, I am pleased with how the script turned out (with the help of Steven Forbes) and the art is just elevating it to a much higher level. I am excited to see how things turn out and once it’s done, I will probably post it here.
