Kickstarter Update: $1,000 Mark Crossed! 20% and Growing…

After a slow spot in the campaign, the Kickstarter recently had an influx of backers that pushed the project to 20%. That’s $1,000! And we’re only just getting started.

I recently added a smaller reward tier where you could get one of the Clusterf@#k Stickers I had made for Tri City Comic Com in WV earlier this year. They were an absolute hit, especially with former military.

I’m also putting together some physical, non-book goals as well. Fridge magnets, bookmarks, perhaps some buttons with the characters on them. I’ve been brainstorming.

But things are looking up. I’m excited because $1,000 is a huge hurdle to crack. 4 more to go.

Comic DNA Podcast: Skullkickers Vol. 3 & 4

I hopped back onto the Comic DNA podcast to talk more about SkullKickers by Jim Zub, Edwin Huang, and Misty Coats. There are a few spoilers, but it’s an interesting discussion on the book and how it seems to get better with each volume. I highly recommend you check the book out since it recently ended and the last volumes will come out before the end of the year.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.

Kickstarter Update: 15% and rising…

As of right now, the Clusterf@#k Kickstarter is at 15% (a little over $750) and things are looking pretty good. Sunday was a bit slow, but I think Sundays are generally slow days for Kickstarter. Still, I was able to get a couple pledges today which bumped my Kickstarter up to 15% and I was able to push the Kickstarter out in front of a lot of new eyes so hopefully, those people will consider backing it in the next few days.

If the needle doesn’t move in the next few days, I’m going to switch to more direct tactics. Not in an aggressive sense, but I will try to take more action to getting more people’s eyes on the book. We’ll see.

But for right now, I’m confident that it will make a steady climb. Either way, I’m doing the best I can.
