Comic Series

Short Update

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted an update so I felt like giving an update on what I’ve been doing.

CLFK Trade Cover

The Clusterf@#k Print Collection is coming along nicely. I’ve been lucky enough to get pin-ups from Secrets & Shadows artist Dexter Wee (which is amazing), Unit 44‘s Eduardo Jiminez, and Juan Romera (the artist behind Strange Nation). Kote and Diego finished the art for the chapter marker pages and they are amazing. For the most part, the main pages are done. I’ll have more news about it this weekend.

In other news, I’ve written a few short stories and hopefully (if I can find interested artists), I’m going to try to put more original content up. The Clusterf@#k book takes priority, but I plan to have more art up.

No news is usually good news, but I need to put things up when I can.

ComicDNA Podcast: Peepo Choo Volume 3

I returned as a guest on Aaron Walther’s ComicDNA podcast to talk about the third volume of Felipe Smith’s manga, Peepo Choo.

And the article I was talking about (and messed up) is actually titled “7 Reasons: Why Felipe Smith Is The Only Mangaka From America (So Far)” and was written by Misaki C. Kido. Give it a read.

If you haven’t heard the first two podcasts, check them out here and here (or check my older posts).

Either way, I hope you enjoy it.

Comic DNA Podcast: SkullKickers

I once again hopped on the Comic DNA podcast for my fifth time as a guest to talk about the Image comic SkullKickers by Jim Zub, Edwin Huang, and Misty Coats. As I say in the podcast, SK was definitely an inspiration for Clusterf@#k and I enjoy this comic a great deal.

If you haven’t checked out this great mix of adventure, comedy, and fantasy, now would be the time to do so. It is even online as a webcomic and available via all standard comic purchasing ways.

Check out the podcast and if the book sounds up your alley, pick it up. I feel like you will enjoy it.
